Standards New Zealand today have released a new standard to target meth contaminated properties in New Zealand.
The Standard NZS 8510:2017 Testing and decontamination of methamphetamine contaminated properties has been released to ensure consistent and reliable testing methods for methamphetamine.
The Safe Sampling Solutions meth testing kits are fully compliant with the new standard as our testing kits include lab analysis from an IANZ accredited laboratory with results given as a μg value that can be compared with the guidelines levels. Several other kits available on the market, such as those that provide instant 'yes/no' results, do not satisfy the requirements of the standard for meth testing.
